Google 為 latitude 加入了一項新功能，只要你的裝置有打開 Google Latitude 的定位功能，你的位置就會自動上載到 Google。之後只要打開 Latitude Dashboard，你就能查看你去過的地方，而且還有圖表分析，顯示你在工作地方和家中的停留狀況，就連出 trip 都有清楚記錄。非常有趣。

只要你的電話開啟了 google latitude並啟動了定位功能 (Android 系統只要進入 map，按 menu 開啟 latitude，在 privacy 內選 detect location 就會讓 google latitude 在背後執行定位功能)，再到 Latitude Dashboard 啟動 Location History 即可。

有關私穩問題，根據 Google 官方網誌所載，所有 location history 只有你自己看到，而每次登入都要輸入密碼 (平常只要你登入了 gmail，再開 calendar 或 docs 之類的 apps 都用輸入密碼)，你更可以自由刪除 history 記錄。另外，就算 enable 了 location history，只要你的電話沒有開啟定位服務，Google 亦無法記錄有關資訊。

科技和私穩永遠都是對立，科技愈先進就愈容易讓你的私穩外洩，使用與否請自行決定。
