Google 自從將 google.cn 的網頁自動轉址 (redirection) 到 google.com.hk 後，Google 和中國政府之間的角力好像暫停了一會兒。但今日，Google 的 SVP David Drummond 在官方 Blog 內發表了一篇名叫 "An update on China" 的文章，內容大意是中國政府不滿意 Google auto redirect 的做法，如 Google 繼續以此方法來逃避搜尋過濾，中國政府將不會為其 ICP (Internet Content Provider) 牌照續期，為此，Google 特意在 google.cn 做一個停留版面，User 要在 google.cn 按一下才會跳到 google.com.hk 進行搜尋，而其他音樂服務、翻譯服務等等都會在 google.cn 內進行。這種取巧的做法，不知道能否過關呢 ? 哈哈 ..... 而當初話要離開中國的 Google 為何又要繼續留戀中國市場呢 ?
