除原有用家外，大家不難發現即將上市的低階 android phone 都未有用上 android 2.1 (可能是系統資源問題吧)，那到時的 "新機" 買家又點算呢 ? 新手機但就只可以用回舊有服務，其他新功能全部沒有。就連 Adobe 都說要在 android 上用 flash 10.1 先要 upgrade 系統，即意味著 cupcake 及 donut 都不會有支援。但不要忘記 cupcake 及 donut 推出了一年還未夠就被遺棄，咁將來推出 android 3.2、Nexus Two 時，大家手中的 Nexus One 是否又會成為另一件被 Google 遺棄的奶油餅呢 ? Google 是不是應停下來諗一諗如何解決這個困局呢 ?

自 1 月 5 日 Google 推出了 Nexus One 後，各類 mobile services 更新頻頻，先有 Google Buzz，再有 Google Earth，短短 2 個月不到就推了 2 項新服務，看來 Google 真的在大力推其 android 系統。但自從 Nexus One 發報以後，大家的著眼點都落在 android 2.1 及 Nexus One，先前風頭一時無兩的 Motorola Droid 好似一下子消失了一樣，直到 Motorola 發表會更新 Droid 的系統至 2.1 才有多點人談論。
先前有說 Google 推 Nexus One 是要為 android phone 立下一個標準，及向手機製造商施壓以加快推出 android phone 的進度。但自 Nexus One 面世後的 2 個月，市場上都未見有新機推出，大家繼續追 Nexus One，而 Google 亦順勢推出各類新服務。新服務全部要求為 android 2.1 或以上，即是只有 Nexus One 可以用到。咁其他非 Nexus One 用家呢 ? Google 好似已經忘記了先前的 cupcake , donut ...... 而手機製造商又無意為舊有手機提供系統更新。一班原有用家立時成為了孤兒 ......
